Initial Situation

The established German company had been successful in the domestic market. International revenues were generated predominantly with only one partner, selected products from the product line were offered in some countries. The only export staff had mainly administrative tasks. It should be examined whether additional products could be offered successfully in other countries.

Helene Schulze works in close agreement with management, she participates directly in all phases until the operation runs smoothly.

I attended international trade fairs for the different product groups offered by the company to gain insight into potential markets. I contacted potential partners for distribution in a number of new target markets. We signed the first new contracts. After these activities confirmed that the products could be offered successfully in other countries, the export department was expanded with my support.

Three years later, the company had an export department with three employees. Export sales doubled during this period and continue to grow. The company is presented at international fairs.

Visiting trade fairs and talking to customers secured a long-lasting investment in export acitvities.
